SCHOOL PLAYGROUNDS
ITo The Editor! Sir,—ln the present day when so much is being done to enlarge play grounds for school children, I would like to ask why public works camps and sheds are allowed to be erected in the very limited space at Hira school? I was motoring past the school a few days ago and was amazed to see practically no play ground at this school. Surely something should be done to rectify this state of affairs. I believe there are 70 to 80 children at the school. I am, etc., MOTORIST. Nelson, 22nd November.
