DEMANDS BY JAPAN
GERMAN AMBASSADOR TO CONFER WITH HITLER (Received 4th May, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, 3rd May. The Berlin correspondent of the “Daily Chronicle” says that the German Ambassador at Tokio, Major-General Ott, is reported to have been recalled to confer with Herr Hitler after his Rome visit upon Japan's demands that Germany cease to export munitions to China and withdraw her army instructors in China.
