NEGLIGENT DRIVING CHARGE
MAN COMMUTED FOR TRIAL IBy Telegraph —Pr*M Aaaoriation] FEATHERSTON. 28th March. In the Magistrate's Court. Featherston, to-day, before Mr H P. La wry. S.M . William Robert Thomson, lorry driver. Featherston. was charged with negligently driving a motor-lorry thereby causing the death of Thomag Cudlip. Thomson pleaded not guilty and waa committed to the Supreme Court, Wellington. for trial.
The charge was a sequel to an accident at Tauherenikau on 12th February.
