SELECTION FROM NELSON FLOCKS
ROMNEY EWES FOR SOUTH AFRICA A pen of five Romney ewes left Nelson by last night’s boat to form part of a consignment from leading flocks in the Dominion for South African clients. Four of the ewes were selected from the flock of Messrs W. R. Hunt and Son. “Av/anui ” Nelson, and the other from the flock of Mr A E. Hunt’s Banbury Hills flock. These flocks are well known throughout New Zealand and are recognised growers of the modern Romney wool. The consignment is being selected by the Stud Stock Department of the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Coy.
