M. Wigfoss, announced that he is preparing plans for capital investment in the event of a new depression. There is also a Budget regulation fund designed to rtbsorb the surplus of the good years to (rover the losses in the bad years. A surplus of a million sterling will be paid into the fund Thu King’s speech at the opening o 1 Parliament did not provide for increased taxation despite heavily increased expenditure. The King declared that Sweden was still prosperous, and there was no reason to fear a change unless external influences were too strong.
