Stratton and Mrs Watkins, Hawkcs Bay, won the championship doubles at the North Island croquet tournament to-day, when play was continued in perfect conditions. Results:— Championship Doubles Final: H. P. Stratton and Mrs Watkins (Hawkes Bay) beat H. A. Penn and Mrs Palmer (Christchurch) 26-12. Open Championship Mrs Watkins beat Miss Washer, 26-3, 26-9; Mrs Palmer beat Mrs Caldow, 26-24, 26-23; A. J. Gibbs beat G. Hart, 26-22. 26-13; Mrs Tingey beat Mrs Gambrill, 26-6, 25-26,. 26-20.
