CHILD DROWNED AT DAY’S BAY
IBv Telegraph - Press Association! WELLINGTON. This Day. Judith Chapman aged about seven years, was accidentally' drowned at Day’s Bay. The child who was attending a school picnic, apparently fell while paddling near the wharf with playmates. Although the custodian applied artificial respiration until a doctor arrived the child did not recover.
