VISIT TO MURCHISON
AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION’S PATROL OFFICER The Automobile Association’s patrol officer, Mr N. M. McLaren, recently returned from a visit to Murchison and advises that the road is generally in good order. Naturally, owing to the new railway and road formations being carried out, certain portions of the road are a little rough. The deviation beyond Kawatiri is in good order but should be traversed carefully as it is narrow and the passing of vehicles is possible only at the specially provided points. These spots are clearly marked, "Pass here.” No trouble should be experienced if motorists use due consideration. The patrol officer remarked that the public of Murchison district are very sympathetic towards the activities of the Automobile Association. "4
