AIR CRASH VICTIMS LONDON, Kith November—Tim eleven victims were: The Grand Du lie George of Hesse and Rhine, aged 31 years, who succeeded to the title on the dentil of his father, the Grand Duke Ernest, a month ago. His wife, Princess C'ecile, of Greece and Denmark, cousin of the Duchess of Kent. His mother, the DowagerGrand Duchess of Hesse and Rhine, the second wife of the late Grand Duke Ernest, formerly Princess Elconore of Solmcsh Ohensolmlich. His two sons, Prince Louis, aged (3 years, and Prince Alexandre, aged 4 years. His maid, Madame Lina Hahn. An engineer named Martens, and Freiherr Grey sen Zu Eiscnback. also Pilot Lambotte, the wireless operator Courtois. and the mechanic Lansmans. The Grand Duke’s surviving child, Jcanner Marina, aged one year, Is in Darmstadt.-r-P.A. cable. DETECTIVE {SEVERELY INJURED AUCKLAND, This Day.—A large police car containing two detectives, a constable, and a man who had been charged at Thames with issuing valueless cheques, overturned at Pope's Corner at Maungatawhiri at about midnight. Detective F. Brady, of Auckland, was seriously injured. The party was returning from Thames. Constable Lilly, of Auckland, was driving, Brady being in the front seat, while in the back were Detective Whillans and Ivan Huia Leslie Bicknell, who had appeared in Court during the day, At the point where the accident occurred the road is undergoing reconstruction and as tile car founded the bend it skidded in loose metal and toppled over a bank about four feet high, Brady being thrown, through the roof. IVhillans escaped injury and attended to the injured men until a car containing Pokcno party came along and drove them to fokeno, where an ambulance was summoned to take Brady and Bicknell to AucklandThe others returnee} in a police car. Brady's condition was reported this afternoon to be serious Bicknell. who was also sent to hospital, is not m a serious condition.—P.A. message.
