OFFICIALLY DENIED
REPORTED SABOTAGE ON H.M.S. RODNEY [United Press Association—B.v Electrlo Teleerapb—Copyrigutl (Received 16th November, 9.5 a.in.) LONDON, 15th November. The First Lord of the Admiralty, Mr A. DufT Cooper, announces that the report in a London newspaper alleging sabotage aboard H.M.S. Rodney is completely without foundation. The battleship Rodney was completed in 1927. She has a tonnage of 39,900, and her main armaments consist of nine 16-inch guns.
