SOVIET OFFICIALS MISSING
[United Presp Association —By Electrlo Teleeraph—CoovrUntl HELSINGFORS, 14th November. Fears are held for the safety of the Soviet Minister to Finland, M. Eric Asmus, who went back on a visit to Russia accompanied by his wife earlier in the year, and failed to return as expected in October. It is believed that he may have been the victim of the purge. The Soviet military attache at Helsingfors, Colonel Ivanoff. was suddenly recalled to Moscow and has not been heard of since.
