Wellington won two of the live main prizes in the "My Black Cat” art union, which was drawn at Wellington last night under the supervision of Sergeant A. Davis and Mr J. W. Hutchings, Internal Affairs Department. • The first prize of £2OOO went to Tc Kowhai, near Ngaruwahia, and the ticket-holder's nom-de-plumc was “Chicken.” W .T. Boulton, care of the Commercial Travellers’ Club, Wellington, whose nom-de-plumc was “Roamer,” won the second prize of £SOO. The third and fourth prizes went to I lolly ford and Auckland respec--1 lively, and the fifth, of £75, went to F.ilean Heron, 8 MoncriefT Street, Wellington.
