The sum of £5 14s in cash and half a dozen bottles of whisky were stolen from the private bar of Tattersall’s Hotel in Stafford street, on Friday night. The thieves, after entering the hotel, used a stcpladder to reach the fanlight above the door leading from the main passage to the private bar. Their exit was made by unlocking the door from the inside. So far no arrest has been made.
