NGATIMOTI WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
THE MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the Ngatimoli Women’s Institute was attended by a fair number of members. The president Mrs Mitchell was in the chair. Correspondence was dealt with and the delegate gave a report of the half yearly council meeling at Richmond. The table competitions resulted: Best jar of pellv, Mrs Stevens 1. Best plate of rooking from £lb butter and no eggs, Mrs U Llewellin 1. A parcel of disabled soldiers’ goods met with a good demand. In a sale of tickets for handbag to benefit Institute funds, Mrs S. Llewellin proved the lucky winner. A very interesting travel talk was given by the Rev Mr Bloomfield, and a vote of thanks was passed. Afternoon tea served by the hostesses Mrs Stratford and Miss Sixtus was much appreciated.
