CHEMICAL WHICH CAUSES FAINTING ONE GRAIN COULD INCAPACITATE MILLION MEN (United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copy rightl (Received 11th September, 2.0 p.m.) NEW YORK, 10th Ceptember. The report of the American Chemical Society envisages bloodless warfare by means of acetycholine. It is claimed that the injection of the minutest quantity into the blood stream will lower the blood pressure, thus causing fainting. For example a grain would be sufficient to incapacitate a million men, and it is suggested that it could be employed for that purpose. It is designed to burst into tiny splinters, a scratch from which would cause instant fainting. .
