MELBOURNE TO SYDNEY 275 M.P.H. ATTAINED (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copy right 1 SYDNEY, 10th September. A Douglas airliner employed on the Adclaide-Sydney-Brisbane route to-day covered the distance between Melbourne and Sydney, over 500 miles, carrying fifteen passengers, in the record time of 1 hour 55 minutes. Favoured by a gale-like tail wind between Canberra and Sydney the machine attained a speed of 275 miles per hour.
