RICHMOND CLUB CLOSING OF GREEN FOR SEASON There was a fairly large number of I members of the Richmond Bowling ' Club present on the Richmond green on Saturday afternoon for the final game of the 19BG-BT season. The altcrnoon was beautifully line, but conditions underfoot were very damp. The [ ‘ I final for the Field Cup pairs was play- ’ j cd off by R. Marshall and W. Jeffries, j the former winning after an extra head ’’ j had been played. ’’ The dub championships were won j I by the following:— 1 : Senior champion: R. W. Smith. '•'j Junior champion: R. Marshall. Field Cup Pairs: Senior, C. Papps: i Junior, R. Marshall. P I At the conclusion of the game the s i cuds were presented to the vario.u winners by Mrs Tanner, wife of the j vice-president, who congratulated the j winners on their success. e Cheers were given for the winner: and also the ladies for providing after noon tea.
