JAPAN’S JUVENILE AIR CORPS FETROL FROM CRUDE OIL JAPANESE EXPERIMENTS SUCCESS CLAIMED [United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copy right] (Received 29th April, 11.20 a.m.) TOKIO. 28th April. It is announced that the successful conclusion of experiments for manufacturing petrol from crude oil by a process of hydrogenation is claimed and that Japan will be able to produce sufficient aviation petrol thereby for the needs of peace time and war time. Japan is organising a juvenile air corps for which youths aged 14 to 24 are eligible. It is hoped the corps will number 6.000.000. It is anticipated that a 100 gliders manned by juveniles would participate in the Olympic Games.
