The Commonwealth Government announces that the new Australian fiveshilling pieces will be introduced Ihto the coinage oh 10th May to mark the Coronation. Between 600,000 and 800,000 crown pieces will be issued at a cost of about 2s 6d each to the Commonwealth, which will thereby gain considerable revenue.
