GROUP OF ACTIVE SUNSPOTS
ABNORMAL ELECTRICAL CONDITIONS AURORA AUSTRALIS LAST NIGHT [Special to Press Association] WELLINGTON, This Day. During the last week or ten days, coinciding with the abearance of a large group of active sunspots, electrical conditions iri the atmosphere have beeil abnormal ahd much disturbed, with a marked adverse effect on short-wave wireless. THe Atirorn Australis display last night, a culmination possibly ol uiese disturbed conditions, does not appear to have made conditions any worse than they had been, the static being much the same as during the last lew days. Datri in connection with the present electl’ical disturbances are being collected by those engaged in radio re'carch.
