A man bought sausages and asked his landlady to cook them for t his breakfast. “How’ll I cock them?” “Fry ’em like fish.” The next morning, when the landlady served them, she remarked: “I hope you'll enjoy your breakfast, sir; but there's not much in these things when they're cleaned out.”
