GUILTY OF BIGAMY
TWO MARRIAGES IN AUCKLAND REGISTRAR’S OFFICE

AUCKLAND, This Day.
A plea of guilty was entered by Thomas Henry Roy Sage, aged 24 years, when charged before Mr Wyvern Wilson in the Police Court with committing bigamy. It was stated in evidence that Sage married in February 1924 at the Registrar’s Office, Auckland, the parties separating three months later, his wife returning to her parents. In July 1929, he went through the form of marriage with another woman at the office of the Auckland Registrar. He w:.s committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
