DESTROYED BY FIRE
Y.M.C.A. SOCIAL HALL AT EAST COAST RAILWAY CAMP [By Telegraph—Press Association] GISBORNE, This Day. The Y.M.C.A. social hall at the Kopuawhara railway camp was destroyed by fire this morning, the building being razed and the contents lost. The building, which was the property of the Public Worlcs Department, was valued at about £SOO, while the equipment lost by the Y.M.C.A. included two bililard tables, a talkie projection plant, canteen stock and a library. The Association’s loss is covered by insurance.
