RODING RIVER
ITo The liditor) Sir. I have been informed there arc men residing in the City and suburbs who are very familiar with the Roding River watershed and stream, and who state that they have known the river during dry summers to be very low and one who has stated he has known the stream to be dry. If this is so. 1 think it is the plain duty to ratepayers to come lorward or state through your paper their experiences of the Roding River. I remember some thirty years since Mr Harry Atmore, M.P., during a public meeting on the water question screened a photo of this stream further up the valley showing the small quantity ot water running during a dry summer. 1 do not wish to decry this water scheme, but I think that we as ratepayers should have all possible information on the matter before we vote. —I am, etc., RATEPAYER.
