THREE MEN FINED
RAIDS ON GAMING HOUSES (United Press Association) GISBORNE, 19th December. As the result of raids on gaming houses, fines totalling £l4O were imposed on three men by Mr Walton, S.M. in the Magistrate’s Court this motning. Samuel James Bardswell was fined £SO for keeping a common gaming house, Maurice William Costello £3O for bookmaking and Laurence Kenny £6O for being the occupier of a common gaming house.
