Immediately we turned the buttons we felt the air filling the suits, and very soon we began to rise through the water. It was lovely. Gwen said it was the most wonderful sensation she had ever experienced. Up and up we went past lots of fishes who seemed terribly astonished to see two balloons floating about. As we rose higher and higher the water grew lighter, and we travelled more quickly. At last we simply rushed to the surface, and almost flew out of the water.
