“AUDIOSCOPIKS”
WIDE INTEREST EVINCED IN M.G.M.’S PETE SMITH NOVELTY The information put out so far by M.G.M. on its Pete Smith novelty-short, Audioscopiks, has created a lot of interested comment, both amongst the trade and the general public. The idea of receiving coloured glasses with which to view a picture, plus advance reports on how the audience reacts v/hilst watching soda squirted at it, and balls heaved at it, has gripped the general imagination enough to make this subject eagerly awaited in all quarters. The addition of the third dimension of sight and the presentation of Pete Smith’s pithy and bright comments on the sound strip gives everyone an indication of the tremendous attraction this subject will prove. “Audioscopiks” is to be released with “San Francisco.”
