VALUERS’ REPORT IN GOVERNMENT HANDS (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, 18th December. 1 lie report of the assessors who were appointed by tile Government to value the H class broadcasting stations has been completed, and the report is now in, the hands of the Government. 1 lie Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. Ai Savage) who ia also Minister in charge of Broadcasting, stated to-day that preparatory to the Government taking over the stations, it would be necessary for negotiations to be entered into with the proprietors of the stations. “We desire to acquire the stations.” said Mr Savage, ‘‘and those which wo cannot acquire will have to be subsidised.”
