EAST COAST NATIVE TRUST LANDS
(By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, 17th December. A regulation issued under the Native Purposes Act 1935 relating to East Coast Native Trust lands provides that no member of the block committee shall be entitled to any remuneration or travelling allowances as of right, but the East Coast Commissioner at discretion may pay a member attending the meeting a sum not exceeding ten shillings a day and reasonable transport expenses.
