JEWISH WINNERS
NAMES OMITTED FROM TABLET (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 18th December, 1.30 p.m.) BASLE, 17th December. The “National Zeitung” denounces as a forgery of modern history, the reported German decision to omit the names of Kabos and Karpati, Hungarian winners at the Olympic Games, because they are Jews, from the commemorative tablet at the stadium.
The newspaper expects that all Jewish winners will not be commemorated.
