FAMOUS NEGRO RUNNER
JESSE OWENS TURNING PROFESSIONAL DEBUT AT HAVANA (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) NEW YORK, 16th December. It is announced that Jesse Owens, the negro runner who won fame at the Berlin Olympiad, will make his debut as a professional runner at Havana on 26th December. He will run 100 metres against time at the Cuban national sports festival.
