COUNTRY’S DISASTROUS START MATCH WITH TOWN (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Town v. Country match had a disastrous start to-day with four wickets down for 41 in the first innings made by Country. Wellington’s bowlers, Parsloe, Tricklebank and Blundell, each of whom got a wicket, early established command. Murchison was run out for 9, Betts went at 7, O’Brien at 1, and Donnelly at 7. Moloney and Gallichan were batting well after that and took the score along till Moloney went after making 49. Cutler came in and at lunch the score was 117 for five wickets, Gallichan not out 84, Cutler not out 6; extras 6. Moloney’s fine knock was ended by Tricklebank, who clean bowled him.
