RUNAWAY HORSE
CAREER DOWN BRIDGE STREET A runaway horse in Bridge street this morning was a sight not often seen these days. The horse was without cart or harness and varied its speed, not according to the needs of the moment but by what happened to be following it. At the junction with Waimea street, in sharp contrast with a runaway car, it slowed up in order apparently to consider which turning should be taken. There was no untoward incident.
