HEAVIEST BOOKING FOR YEARS

SYDNEY, 16th December. Australians -this year are to New Zealand for the Christmas and New Year holidays on four liners sailing between Friday and Christmas Day. More than 15C0 passengers have booked for the , Awatea, and the Maunganui, sailing on Friday, is taking 760 of these. Bookings are' the heaviest for a- number of "years, in pleasant contrast to last December, when the Tasman services "ivere disorganised by a shipping strike.
