WORK AT BLIND INSTITUTE
MINISTER OF EDUCATION IMPRESSED (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, 16th December “The work which is being carried out is truly amazing,” said the Hon. P. Frazer, Minister of Education, after making a detailed inspection of the New Zealand Institute for the Blind. Accompanied by Mr N. T. Lambourne, Director of Education, and Sir Clutha Mackenzie, director of the institute, the Minister conversed with each pupil in the school and each man in the work-shop. He also presented medals and certificates to successful students. The Minister paid a special tribute to the work of the teachers.
