CAR GOES OVER BANK
THREE PASSENGERS INJURED (By Telegraph—Press Association) INVERCARGILL, This Day. Early on Sunday morning a car driven by Lancelot William Donaldson, an employee of Burwood Station, failed to “negotiate a corner on the road from Mossburn to the Public Works Camp at Mt. Hamilton and crashed over a 25 foot bank into the river. The driver escaped unhurt but three passengers were injured, Charles Webb of Invercargill sustained severe head injuries and a broken right leg. Edward William Bfedwell sustained head injuries and Ralph Cole Scott head injuries and fractured ribs.
The victims were brought by ambulance to Southland Hospital. Their condition is reported to be satisfactory.
