TRANSPORT LICENSING AUTHORITIES SALARY OF £SOO A YEAR (Ey Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The four new transport licensing authorities, whose names were announced from Wellington by the Minister of Transport, the Hon. R. Semple, will each receive a salary of £SOO yearly. The Minister stated it would be a full-time job and they must devote their whole attention to the reorganisation of the transport system.
