WHEAT IN EGYPT

In order "t* avert a slump in the wheat market, the, Egyptian Government is guaranteeing banks giving advances on wheat. It is officially stated that it is not intended to raise prices artificially, but merely to stcfp a panic consequent, on the arrival of the new crop before the old crop is disposed of.
