LABOUR PARTY’S TOLICY (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 15th June, 9.15 a.m.) LONDON, 14th June. Major C. R. Attlee (Leader of the Labour Opposition), speaking at Oxford, replying to a suggestion that Labour should state its policy with regard to the Monarch, said he did not believe that was right tactics. Labour should tackle first things first. The leading questions were peace and poverty. Answering criticism that Labour members of the House of Commons were too old, he suggested pensions for parliamentarians.
