CAUGHT IN THE ACT
FIRES AT BLENHEIM YOUTH ARRESTED ON SATURDAY NIGHT (By Telegraph—Press Association) BLENHEIM, This Day. As the result of a sequence of fires on Saturday nights during the past few weeks, none of which assumed serious proportions due to the efficiency of the brigade, the police on Saturday evening kept a watch on premises likely to be visited by the suspected “fire bug.” The outcome of this action was the arrest of a youth red-handed by a constable, who caught him attempting to fire stables which were the scene of an outbreak of fire exactly a week previously. The arrested youth was remanded.
