Liberally flavoured with spectacular but nevertheless hard clean wrestling, the professional bout between McCready (17st) and Sam Leathers, U.S.A. (16st 51bs) came to an unexpected end in the sixth round, Leathers being unable to continue. Until then he had secured the only fall. BOESCH AND WOODS DRAW PALMERSTON N„ This Day. A wrestling match between Boesch (15st lOlbs) and Woods (15st 51bs) resulted in a draw, each securing a fall. The decision met with unanimous approval.
