DELEGATIONS AT WELLINGTON MARKETING METHODS OF FRUIT (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. Delegations arrived from Cook Islands to-day by the Maunganui to represent the views of traders in regard to marketing methods and bringing with them evidence that has been formulated by various interests in the Islands. The party of eleven consists of representatives of European and native fruitgrowers and marketing concerns. One delegation represents a petition for a fruit control board and the oilier desires guaranteed minimum prices for oranges, bananas and tomatoes. Makea Tinirau Ariki, paramount chief of Rarotonga, is a member of the party. Judge H. F. Ayson, Resident Commissioner at Rarotonga, and Mr W. Goodwin. Director of Agriculture, also arrived to represent the Cook Islands Administration.
