RE-TRIAL OF ERIC MAERO
TO COMMENCE ON MONDAY WEEK (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day. Summonses have been issued to sixty jurors for the re-trial of Eric Mareo, musician, found guilty at the February sessions of the Supreme Court for murdering his ife by administering veronal poison. It is likely that Mr Justice Ostler will be judge for the re-trial, which commences on Monday week. The Crown’s case will be conducted bv Mr V. R, Merddith and Mr P. McCarthy, and the defence by Messrs O’Leary, T. Henry and K. C. Aekins.
