GREATEST SAFEGUARD OF PEACE MR BALDWIN ADDRESSES BACK= BENCHERS (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, 21st May. 'Die lion. Stanley Baldwin spoke for forty-five minutes at a private dinner of back-benchers. Great interest was shown on account of rumours of Cabinet reconstruction and suggestions that the Government has been weakened by recent events. Mr Baldwin said he hoped members of the House of Commons would realise that, though the Government’s majority was large, its force and vigour could only be maintained by constant loyalty. The Prime Minister declared that a strong Britain was the greatest safeguard of peace in Europe,
