Nainara,' received the following , from.’ the Manager, ■ Auckland Branch, Pacific Cable Board, at 2.35 p.m. to-day: “Norfolk Island advises unprecedented storm: accompanied by 15 inches torrential rain during the night. Washed away ' cablehouse and road leading to hut. Cables temporarily interrupted to Norfolk only.”
