Results : Maiden Handicap, of £150; six fur-longs—l-1 Le Chasseur, 7.8, 1; 6-6 Glentliawn, 7.8, 2; 1013 Solas, 7.8, 3. Scratched: Cyllaros, Gay Athlone, Kurakalia. Won by two lengths, one length. Time, 1.16. CARTERTON RESULTS CARTERTON, This Day. The weather is fine but cloudy and bleak, and the attendance good, and the track in excellent order for the Carterton races. Results< Maiden Plate, of £6O ; six furlongs.— 1 Camilla Horn, 8.12 (J?. Burgess), 1; 2 Le oquet, 8.5, 2; 3 Sir Ronald, 8.J2, 3. Won by a head. All started. Time 1.18. SOUTH CANTERBURY MEETING TIMARU, This Day. The South Canterbury winter meeting concluded to-day under entirely favourable weather conditions, with the track in excellent order and the attendance good. Results: Pukaki Hurdles of £100; one mile and a- half —9 Ilaeretonu, 9.0 (A. Stone), 1; 2 Signaller, 9.8, 2; 4 Wexford Bridge, 9.0, 3. Scratched: Giggleswick. Won by two lengths each way. Time, 2 45 4-5.
