POWER FOR DAROAVILLE
(United Press Association) UAR.GAVILLE, 21st May. “Given another month of this weathei and we will have the main power reticulation poles from the Wairero substation into Dargavillc borough, saul the engineer of the North Auckland Electric. Power Board, Air T. R. Overton this morning. ; For two months past the board s stall has been distributing poles and cross arms along the thirty odd miles comprising the surveyed route. Pole erection gangs have followed closely, with the result that the poles are.’erected through the Paparoa, Matakohe, and Ruawai districts. The gangs are now working in the vicinity of Tokatoka, within fifteen miles of Dargavillc.
