INDOOR BOWLS

The Jubilee Bowling Green presented an animated scene on a recent evening when four rinks from the Post Office, each of which included two ladies, played rinks from the Public Works and Agriculture Departments. The aggregate points were slightly in favour of the Post Office. On the same evening a four-handed billiard tournament was held, 24 players competing, and this was won by Wilson and Bourne.

Another evening the usual Trafalgar •shield series -was replaced by a junior pairs tournament and this was won outright by Bray and McLean. Eight rinks took part in the open tournament and at the end of the third round, rinks skipped by Rudman, Watson, Kingsland and Masefield qualified for tlie final play with two wins each. Rudman defeated Watson, and Kingsland heat Masefield in the semi-finals. Kingsland with whom played Spear, Bateman and Fletcher beat Rudman’s rink in the final.
