WANGANUI SESSION ((Jnited Press Association) WANGANUT. 20th May. The Supreme Court was to-day engaged in hearing a case against Henry William llurlcy, butcher, of Waitotara. for allegedly attempting to interfere with a witness "in his employ in a case in which a young man, another employee, was charged with indecent assault. Evidence was given that the accused endeavoured to persuade the witness to say that he was not sure of a statement lie had made to Detective Packman. The defence was a complete denial of the allegation and that the conversations the accused had with the employee related to the signing of the wngOS book. The case is proceeding.
