Miss R.ana Grainger has been awarded “Local Exhibitioner of Trinity College of Music, London” for senior elocution, hours. This ip a distinct honour to Miss Grainger, as thei'e are only 7 awards made by the College for the South Island of New Zealand, covering all subjects and all grades, and this is the first occasion that an award has been gained by a candidate in’ the Nelson local centre. Miss Nelta Ching L.T.C.L., prepared the successful candidate for examination.
